The Art of French Murder

Tabitha has recently arrived from Detroit to stay with her French grandfather, who lives in Paris. Post-war Paris is a city of history, romance, stunning architecture, and... food. Thanks to her friend Julia, Tabitha is learning to cook real French... dishes. Everything is going wonderfully until one cold December day when they return to Julia's house and discover that a young woman's body has been found in the basement. The murder weapon, found nearby, is a knife from Julia's kitchen. The friends are even more shocked when they learn that a note written in... Tabitha's handwriting is found in the victim's pocket.
 
Now finding the murderer is a matter of honor, and Tabitha throws herself wholeheartedly into the investigation. The trail of evidence leads her to a theater wardrobe.
