Rubaiyat

Omar Khayyam 1048–1131 — a great Persian poet, philosopher, and scientist, an undisputed classic of world lyric poetry. Throughout his life, he wrote poetic aphorisms, rubaiyat, in which he reflected on profound thoughts about love and hate, good and evil, fate and destiny. The famous rubaiyat, which make one contemplate life and laugh at the helplessness of man in the struggle against himself, remain relevant to this day.
