Søren Kierkegaard — a famous Danish philosopher, writer, and theologian, founder of European existentialism.

The treatise «Either-Or» — one of the first truly major works of Søren Kierkegaard, in which the author presents his vision of the ethical, aesthetic, and religious stages of human existence.

The treatise consists of four parts, each of which can be perceived as an independent work:

- «The Unhappiest»,

- «The Seducer's Diary»,

- «The Harmonious Development of Aesthetic and Ethical Principles in the Human Personality».
