Evgeny Lvovich Schwartz 1896–1958 – a famous Russian prose writer, storyteller, playwright, and screenwriter. The screenplays of Evgeny Schwartz were used to create well-known Soviet films: "Cinderella," "First Grader," and "Don Quixote," as well as the premiere of the play... "Ordinary Miracle." The main character of the story "First Grader" is Marusya, who dreams of going to school. The girl is so eager to enroll in the first grade that she secretly runs away from home to submit her application. The lively and mischievous Marusya still has to become a diligent and hardworking student.
