The father and mother of Jordan and Beryl Tavistock, agents of the British Secret Service, were killed in Paris under mysterious circumstances. The orphaned children were raised by their uncle Hugh, who was also a spy in the past. At a party at their uncle's house, the brother and sister learn from some tipsy guests that twenty years ago the police and intelligence agencies concluded that the traitor Bernard Tavistock killed his wife and then committed suicide. Beryl and Jordan are convinced that the case was fabricated, but how can they prove it? The brother and sister set off to Paris to uncover the truth and protect the good name of their parents...
