A Novel about Two Worlds

A young and talented pianist, suffering from severe depression, decides to change her surroundings and go to Cannes with friends on the advice of her doctor. There, she meets Italian artist Raffaello Cellini. He sees that the girl's condition is not improving and suggests consulting his friend in Paris, who practices a rather extravagant method of treatment using electricity. Who is this mysterious man to whom she is ready to entrust her life? A skillful and cynical charlatan — or a powerful healer to whom much is revealed that is unknown to mere mortals?.
