Spirit

We hope most of you are familiar with this character (at least from Frank Miller's film). Comics about the most outstanding representative of hat justice with disarming charisma and youthful exuberance, created by one of the MOST significant creators in... the history of the genre, still looks just as fresh as in the late 40s. By the way, this issue collects stories from the post-war period of the series – in 1945 Will Eisner 'rebooted' his main character and updated the drawing style, bringing it to a form already familiar to modern eyes.
