Something is Killing the Children. Book One

When children start disappearing in a sleepy town in America, it seems that all hope is lost. Most children vanish forever; however, the few who manage to return tell nightmarish stories about terrifying creatures that dwell in the shadows. The only one who can stop these monsters is a mysterious stranger who claims to see what the surviving children see. Her name is Erica Slaughter, and she kills monsters. That’s all she does. And believe me, such a craft comes at a high cost.
