Beware of the Gaze of the Queen of Snakes

Artist Arthur Kornilin came to visit his grandfather, who lives in the wilderness near a mysterious lake. Here he hopes to create something significant, unusual. And he succeeds. But soon Kornilin dies under very strange circumstances, leaving his most mysterious painting "Queen of Snakes" to his friend, Sergei Gorsky. What caused the artist's death: an accident or murder? Gorsky begins his own investigation and finds himself involved in inexplicable events, while two extraordinary girls, Lida and Alena, two sisters from the depths of the forest, enter his life and become rivals for his heart... Mysteriously, modern events and fateful passions are connected to the life of medieval Florence and Ancient Egypt.
