Dangerous Liaisons

The epistolary novel by French general, inventor, and writer Pierre Choderlos de Laclos (1741–1803) «Dangerous Liaisons» is one of the best and most read French novels of the 18th century, being published in the first complete Russian translation by Alexander Ivanovich Levada (1765–1812). The book is adorned with 27 illustrations by the French artist and illustrator Georges Barbier (1882–1932).
