Crazy Ship

«Crazy Ship», «the last novel of the Silver Age», was written in 1930, and was published in a magazine at that time, causing a storm of criticism and was not published in the... Soviet Union for a long time (for censorship reasons). The basis of the novel is the life of the Petersburg House of Arts (DISK), created in 1919 at the initiative of Korney Chukovsky and with the closest participation of Maxim Gorky, where writers and artists lived and worked — Alexander Blok (Gaetan), Andrei Bely (Alien Wanderer), Yevgeny Zamyatin (Horned), Mikhail Slonimsky (Kopilsky)... The pseudonyms are easily decipherable, the life stories are almost authentic, but the main thing is that Olga Forsh described the amazing fate of the Artist during the Revolution.

The edition is supplemented with a preface by philologist Oleg Lekmanov.
