Death and Croissants

Richard Ainsworth is the owner of a small hotel, who once moved to France from England. He is a bit shy about his French (almost perfect, but you know these French people), gets depressed at the sight of muesli, and... loves when nothing happens to him. One day, a guest disappears from his hotel, leaving a bloody trail on the wallpaper and broken glasses in the trash can. When the wall is cleaned, Richard dreams of one thing: to quickly forget about the strange incident, but then, unfortunately for him, a new pretty guest Valérie d'Orsé suddenly shows a keen interest in the mysterious disappearance. Contrary to his own wishes, Richard finds himself drawn into a real investigation, which becomes personal when someone kills Ava Gardner – one of his favorite hens… and Richard is not ready to forgive such a thing!
