The library of the project History of the Russian State is a collection of masterpieces of world literature recommended by Boris Akunin, reflecting the biography of our country from its very beginnings. Alexander Vasilyevich Gerasimov 1861–1944 headed the Petersburg security... department from 1905 to 1914. In his memoirs, which illuminate the history of revolutionary terror in Russia, he spoke about his struggle with terrorists of various kinds and directions, his work with G.
