Confusion

Astrobiologist Theo Byrne searches for life in distant space and, after the death of his wife, raises his nine-year-old son Robin alone, an unusually intelligent boy who writes poetry and can spend hours drawing animals and plants in minute detail.... Moreover, he is at risk of being expelled from school for having beaten his own friend. With each passing month, Robin's condition deteriorates, and then his father resorts to the latest treatment method – neurofeedback. Robin begins to control himself by interacting with a model based on a pre-recorded image of his late mother's emotions, who had previously participated in the experiment. Meanwhile, the world around the Byrnes and across the Earth begins to collapse.
