Aleksandra's Tales of Summer

The book "Aleksandra's Tales of Summer" was written in 2004 by the popular novelist and multiple literary award winner Anna Skaidrīte Gailīte, dedicating it to her granddaughter Aleksandra. Now, when the readers of the first edition of the book have grown up, this book will also be joyfully and eagerly read by the new generation.

Aleksandra says: "When I was little, I lived with the belief that every child has their own fairy tale book written for them. Mine seemed the best, because I could understand all the birds and animals in their language, as well as be friends with the kind-hearted Čučurītis.
Even now, as I have grown up, I still like the book, because it has such lovely illustrations, rich language, and the relationships among the forest animals reflect a balance that continually helps to overcome the evil personified by the wicked Grabonis."

The beautiful story about the summer nature world is illustrated by the talented artist Agija Staka.
