House of Silence

1989, a small town in South Carolina. For miles around, there are plantations of tobacco, cotton, and corn, dense thickets of mixed forests, and the endless swamps. And in this wilderness, where the biggest events are the search for a lost cow in the swamp or the replacement of a tractor's spring, teenagers David and Andrea, walking in the woods, suddenly stumble upon a local resident who is crouching in front of a lifeless body and sawing off its head.
