The Scavenger

 

His name is Zhenya. He is sitting on a bench outside the house from which he has just been evicted. He has nowhere to go, only some change and cigarettes in his pocket. He has forgotten when he last ate... anything or slept on a soft bed. Soon he will set off again on a journey through the streets of Moscow, dreaming of finding something worthwhile. He is open to any job, whether it's shooting a porn film or working as a sanitary worker transporting corpses to the morgue. He jokingly calls himself a loser because he often gives up. However, despite all the troubles he has faced, he always tries to find a glimmer of hope in everything, he does not stop dreaming. One day, a wealthy, beautiful woman named Nastya appears in his life, who should not have paid attention to garbage like him. But this woman offers him to fulfill all his dreams in exchange for just a small favor. He does not yet know how high a price she is asking and where it may lead him. Will he go for it? And so he sets off on a journey again...
