The Cake from Yabeda-Koryabeda

Viola Tarakanova never passes by someone else's trouble. That's why she decided to help a complete stranger woman. In the restaurant where Vilka was having dinner with her husband Stepan, an unknown woman approached them, fell to her knees, and... asked for help. But she was thrown out by Nelly, the wife of the restaurant owner Vadim. She said that this was Valya Yurkin – Vadim's first wife; allegedly, she poisoned his mother and daughter-in-law with a cake. And now she had returned from prison and was coming to them. Yurkin turned out to be persistent: she lay in wait for Vilka and Stepan in the entrance of their house, begging her to listen. She claimed she had been slandered, she had not killed anyone… The detectives began to clarify the details of the old story. All the figures in the case could not be called white and fluffy. And when step by step the detectives uncovered a whole series of suspicious deaths, Viola was confused for the first time. But only for a moment.
