Dictionary of Synonyms and Antonyms of the Russian Language

The proposed dictionary contains more than 5000 words and consists of two parts: a dictionary of synonyms and a dictionary of antonyms. The dictionary includes the most commonly used words of the Russian literary language, lively conversational speech, some specialized... terms that are widely used, as well as a number of outdated words encountered in works of literature studied in school. All words, except for monosyllabic ones, are marked with stress. Each word is provided with a brief explanation, synonyms are accompanied by stylistic notes. Dictionary entries are illustrated with examples. The book is intended to help those who strive to master their native language better, make their speech more expressive, and enrich their vocabulary. The publication is intended for school students, university students, and teachers, and will be a good assistant in preparing for lessons and exams.
