Dictionary of Synonyms and Antonyms of the Russian Language

The proposed dictionary contains more than 5000 words and consists of two parts: a dictionary of synonyms and a dictionary of antonyms. The dictionary includes the most commonly used words of the Russian literary language, living colloquial speech, some widely... used special terms, and a number of obsolete words found in works of fiction studied in school. All words, except monosyllabic ones, are provided with stress marks. Each word is accompanied by a brief definition, and synonyms are accompanied by stylistic labels. Dictionary entries are illustrated with examples. The book is designed to help those who strive to master their native language better, make their speech more expressive, and enrich their vocabulary. The edition is intended for school students, university students, teachers, and will be a good assistant in preparing for lessons and exams.
