His name is Scott Free, he is the New God by birthright and an unparalleled escape artist who is famous worldwide as Mister Miracle. But will our hero be able to pull off his most incredible trick and fool death itself?
Scott's perfect earthly life with his wife Big Barda suddenly goes awry. And in the war that rages in the Fourth World, a turning point occurs, clearly not in favor of New Genesis, as Scott's adopted father, Darkseid, the lord of Apokolips, seems to have obtained the Anti-Life Equation — a weapon that guarantees him total victory.
Mountains of corpses are rising on both sides, and only Mister Miracle can end the bloody slaughter and restore peace. But perhaps the Anti-Life Equation has already infiltrated Scott Free's mind, distorting his perception of reality and jeopardizing the fragile happiness he has found with his beloved woman.
Will death become the trap that has been waiting for Scott all this time? Or perhaps life itself has become his trap? What will the unparalleled escape artist have to sacrifice to find the answers to these questions? Time will tell.
The collection includes 12 issues of the series.
