Forever Losing Weight. 9 Stories About the Lives and Feelings of Those Who Are Unhappy with Their Bodies

This is a book by psychotherapist Vitalina Malygina about how to free oneself from self-hatred that eats away at the soul, drains energy, and distances us from those willing to love us. From her own experience, the author knows that for those who have suffered or continue to suffer from their reflection in the mirror, from the mockery of the inner critic and jokes of others, it is hard to be grateful to their bodies. But it is the body that withstands all the blows that the psyche endures. When no one took up the cause to protect us, it was our bodies that did. Acknowledging this means taking the first step toward reconciliation. The book presents nine stories. Each of them is merely one of the scenarios that a girl, young woman, or woman who considers herself fat and unattractive might experience in life. And each has a way out to a new life.
