Barefoot on the Grass

A tender and infinitely touching story, imbued with the peace and quiet of a tiny town, will tell about first love that matures along with the lovers, about blood ties and spiritual kinship, about art that awakens the best in the soul.

Josie, an emotional and sensitive girl, grows up in a large and loving family. She has to learn the bitterness of loss and loneliness early on — her mother passes away. Meeting wise Sonia Grimaldi and music lessons change Josie's life forever. Through her connection with music, the wounds in her soul begin to heal.

Josie immerses herself in the world of music and books, learning to see beauty in every moment and absorbing it with all her being.

One day, she finds herself sitting next to Samuel on the school bus — a gloomy, proud, reserved boy.

They become friends, and from this friendship a feeling is destined to be born, one that grows and unfolds alongside the protagonists and becomes independent of social differences, time, or distance.
