The seventh book of our collection "Theology and theurgy of Proclus Diadochus. Commentary on Timaeus: Hymn to the Great Trimurti. Book II" includes the second part of the work of the outstanding Neoplatonic philosopher Proclus (412-485 A.D.), one of the... last scholarchs of the Athenian Platonic Academy, in the rendition of André-Jean Festugière, continuing the new series of books "The Revelation of Hermes Trismegistus." If the first part of the "Commentary on Timaeus" served as a detailed introduction to the issues of the famous dialogue of Plato, revealing the nature of the universal demiurgies that arranged the Universe, then the part of this famous work being published now, covering the stages of creation, reveals the person and personalities standing at its source in the terminology of rational philosophy, where the outlines of the Living God emerge from Proclus's abstract concepts (the One, the One that is, and Being), finding resolution in Plato's Three Kings or the Three Hypostases of the Christian Creator. The translation was performed by Vladimir Tkachenko-Hildebrandt (and verified with ancient Greek texts), known throughout the series of books "The Revelation of Hermes Trismegistus." It should be noted that only a third of Proclus Diadochus's monumental work "Commentary on Timaeus" has survived: approximately over 2500 pages; one can imagine what this work was like in its fullness, written by the philosopher at the age of 28. The book is intended for a wide audience and will leave no one indifferent who is interested in classical Greco-Roman philosophy and the hermetic teachings of the East and the West, which have had a significant influence on the development of European spiritual and material culture.
