Thumbelina

How many difficulties will the small and delicate Thumbelina have to overcome to find her happiness in the land of elves! She will run away from the boastful family of frogs. She will be abandoned to her fate by the... arrogant May beetle. The girl will find shelter with a field mouse, who almost gives her away to a blind mole… But for illustrator Natalia Kuricheva, none of the characters in H.-C. Andersen's story appear as villains. The artist seems to have seen the surrounding world through the eyes of kind and sensitive Thumbelina. And this world is captivating and beautiful, and only in such a world will any story inevitably have a happy ending.
