Kenilworth Arms – a multi-story residential complex in the heart of Chicago, a shelter for the destitute, immigrants, those on the run from the law, or those with nowhere else to go. Here, petty criminal Cruz stops, having escaped from... Miami from his accomplices, and Jonathan, who has severed ties with the past after a failed marriage. But this house is strange; people disappear in it, its walls conceal many secrets, and sometimes it seems as if they are alive, as if real blood pulses through them, and in the sewers and air ducts dwells something that one would not encounter even in the most terrifying nightmares. And when Cruz begins to have problems with the police and the local crime boss, Kenilworth Arms changes; it reacts, and in such a way that nothing will now protect both uninvited guests and local residents.
