Anna K

At seventeen, Anna K is at the top of society in Manhattan and Greenwich, even if she prefers the company of her horses and dogs; she has a perfect though completely boring boyfriend, Alexander V; and her father, of Korean-American descent, always has reasons to be proud of her even if he can be a bit domineering. Meanwhile, Anna's brother, Stephen, and his girlfriend, Lolly, are trying to survive a loud scandal; Lolly's younger sister, Kimmy, is trying to return to normal life after an injury that shattered her career in figure skating; and Stephen's best friend, Dustin, is madly and hopelessly in love with Kimmy. Unlike her friends, Anna gracefully manages to overcome all the trials of growing up until she meets Alexei Vronsky one day.
