The book is based on an effective teaching methodology for designers, tested in educational classrooms. The main tools, technologies, and techniques for processing photo images in Adobe Photoshop are presented sequentially in the form of lessons, using version CC 2022... as an example. The capabilities of the Properties palette are examined. Methods for creating collages, techniques for restoring old photographs, as well as figure correction, glamour retouching, automation, batch processing of files, and much more are described. Special attention is given to working with channels, creating and saving selections, working with vector images, correction, and algorithms for retouching photographs. Real tasks arising during work are considered in the training; collages are created using a layered model. The new edition describes neural filters that operate based on artificial intelligence, updated capabilities for working with sets of auxiliary files presented by separate
palettes.
