The Wonderful Adventures of Nils with the Wild Geese

You will be able to read the amazing "eternal" book by Swedish writer Selma Lagerlöf, who won the Nobel Prize in Literature, about the journey of an enchanted boy with a flock of geese, led by the experienced goose Akka of Kebnekaise, on the back of his friend goose Martin in a wonderful retelling by Z. Zadunaiskaya and A. Lyubarskaya, with poems by S. Marshak.

Nils matures on the way: he learns to distinguish good from evil, to empathize, saves and protects the geese of the flock and other characters they meet along the way. He even performs a feat by saving a castle from rats...

Selma Lagerlöf's book teaches children to carefully observe everything around them, to befriend animals, not to hurt them, to admire nature, and to love their homeland.
