This edition includes three works by Jean-Jacques Rousseau: "The Walks of a Lonely Dreamer"—the author's last work, in some way summarizing his entire life and creativity; "Discourse on the Sciences and Arts"—Rousseau's first mature work, which already lays the foundation for all his future ideas and thoughts; as well as the famous "Letter to d'Alembert on Spectacles," in which Rousseau criticizes the art of his time, which is distant from the life and interests of the ordinary viewer.
