The Porcelain Room

The beginning of the 20th century, Punjab. Fifteen-year-old Mehar and her named sisters Gurlin and Harbans are married off in one ceremony. Many years later, a young man who grew up in a small English town arrives in India. Like a spoiled guest, he cautiously explores the places where his ancestors lived. In the abandoned family estate, everything seems strange and foreign to him… Except for the locked porcelain room. In it, he will uncover a hidden story woven from strict prescriptions and direct prohibitions, bold love, and attempts to change the old world.
