Volunteers of Eternity

Volunteers of Eternity — the second volume in the Labyrinths of Echo series by Max Frei, which has long since become a legend. In this book, the fearless Sir Max continues to investigate mysterious stories occurring in the magical world of the Labyrinths of Echo — a world named after the largest city of the most powerful kingdom. This time, Sir Max manages to neutralize a gang of bandits who have settled in the Magahon Forest, deal with the members of the Order of the Long Way, who buried themselves alive thousands of years ago and thus attained immortality. He also saves the Moon Calf — a type of living creature that is potentially dangerous to the balance of the world — and transports it to the Moon.
