The Game

Four people have mysteriously disappeared on their birthday. Four people, not connected to each other in any way: a middle-aged female serviceman, a man preparing to become a father, a successful accountant – a mother of two children, and a... young student. The only thing that unites them is the strange postcards they received with the inscription: Your gift is a game. Are you weak to play? The police are in no rush to take on these cases – what does the law care about someone's strange games? But the families of the missing are sure: everything is very, very serious. Experienced psychologist Augusta Bloom and her partner Marcus Jameson take on the investigation... and very soon come to a shocking conclusion: perhaps it is not the four missing who should be feared, but themselves.
