Ekaterina Georgievna Karganova 1922–2017 — a children's writer, published in many newspapers and magazines, and for a long time headed the editorial office of children's publications at the Malish publishing house. Throughout her life, Ekaterina Karganova wrote for children. Her... accomplishments are quite broad: she wrote not only fairy tales but also riddles, songs, and devised play activities. Many of her works were adapted into animated films, including The Mouse's Song, How the Donkey Sought Happiness, Chunya, Zheltik, and others. Thanks to her ability to speak to children in a language they understand, she became beloved not only by children but also by adults.
