Windows to the Yard

Miki moves to Vancouver with his parents and younger brother. The unusual family easily blends into Canadian society, but only on the surface: the parents' relationship in the new country begins to rapidly deteriorate, and a tragedy that could have brought the couple together only drives them further apart. Meanwhile, Miki, having fled from old problems, faces new ones: violence, fear, misunderstanding, and dependency.
