Meanwhile, someone hired Solomon Grundy to provoke the Outlaws into a confrontation and forced Bizarro to intervene. Unfortunately, the plan worked. Bizarro sacrificed himself to save his friends. Fortunately, the smartest (but not the most selfless) scientist in Gotham figured out how to bring the Superman clone back to life, but no one counted on the treatment affecting Bizarro's intelligence in a rather unexpected way...
