The Girl Who Tamed the Darkness

Far, far beyond the clouds, there is an unknown land where everyone is prepared from childhood to become Lantern Keepers. This is a very important profession because it is the Lantern Keepers who bring Light into the world every evening,... driving away the Darkness. In Farola, everyone admires the Lantern Keepers, including little Anemone. Together with her cat Mina, she loves watching as the Rusty and other street lamps come to life. But one July evening, something strange happens: the Farola Lantern Keeper seems to forget to light the lamps, and the cat Mina disappears into the darkness. The streets of the city slowly plunge into darkness, but Anemone has no choice but to forget her fears. Will the little girl be able to save Mina and all of Farola from the Darkness? A good children's book can captivate both children and adults. And 'The Girl Who Tamed the Darkness' does this excellently.
