The Door into Summer

Every living creature on Earth strives to find the Door into Summer. Where it is warm, there is no cold, no war, no hatred, no offense.

Where a friend will not betray you, and a bride will not deceive you. In the famous novel by Robert Heinlein, such a Door into Summer is sought by Daniel Boone Davis and his cat Petronius Arbiter, a rather polite animal - when he is not being petted against the grain and not being patted on the back.

To find the Door into Summer, the cat and his owner must overcome Time, and Time has a stern disposition - it is not ready to engage with just anyone, preferring those whose hearts are open to the world.
