Fanatical missionary Nathan Price, along with his wife and daughters, leaves the prosperous, civilized America and goes to the Black Continent, into the jungles of Belgian Congo, with a firm faith in God and the hope that the Lord will... help him convert the local inhabitants to Christianity. He preaches fiercely and passionately, but the locals do not thirst to receive the gracious gifts. They tenderly guard their sanctities, honor the traditions of their ancestors, and continue to perform their wild, sometimes inhumane, rituals.
