In the Wrong Forest. Insatiable Bugs

In the wrong forest, everything is mixed up: pine cones grow on birches, and spruce cones grow on aspens; in autumn, needles fall off firs and pines, while the leaves on other trees stay green all year round; the grass... is blue, and the water in the stream is green. Mushrooms skillfully climb trees and hunt for caterpillars. To avoid being eaten themselves, they came up with the idea to swap caps—so you can’t tell whether they are poisonous or edible. A wicked and sly rabbit bullies the wolves. A frog lives in a tree, hedgehogs incubate chicks, and spiders weave webs only so that the forest dwellers can listen to the wind playing on their strings.
