Batman: Detective Comics. Let There Be Blood

Gotham police detectives Corrigan and Martinez find themselves ambushed on one of Gotham's dark streets, where they arrived following a report of gunfire. There, the partners discover a fresh corpse, and themselves become victims of an attack by mysterious figures in green robes. «The bearer shall die! Long live the bearer!» These words are repeated by the servants of a mysterious cult as they kill Tony Martinez and take James Corrigan — the bearer of the Spectre, the spirit of divine vengeance. And to help the spirit reclaim its bearer, Batman must use his talent as the greatest detective in the world.
