«Cardventure. The Three Musketeers» — a tabletop narrative game from the series «Cardventure» . In this adventure, you will take on the roles of the famous inseparable friends, the musketeers, known worldwide.
You are a noble young nobleman in 17th century France, dreaming of... a career in the royal musketeers' regiment. But on your way to Paris, you witness an attack on a young lady by unknown assailants and, of course, cannot stay aside. Your adventures begin!
You will dive into the thick of events described in the novel by Alexandre Dumas, which has been adapted multiple times. The plot may seem familiar to you, but how the events unfold and how the adventure ends depends on your decisions during the game!

The «Cardventure» series consists of games in which you, as a particular character, enter into a narrative adventure. It's like reading a book, only more interesting, as you have to make choices on each card, and different decisions will lead to different endings.

In these games, there is no rulebook, just follow the instructions on the cards. However, each game in the series contains many illustrations and text conveying the atmosphere of the era. You will also find an additional booklet in the box with historical information about the time to which the game has transported you. Currently, 8 games have been released in Russian:  «Vinland», «Lhasa», «Caravans», «Oklahoma», «Versailles», «Hollywood», «The Three Musketeers», «Normandy».

How to play?
At the beginning of the game, choose the chapter of the story and take all the cards with the symbol of that chapter.
To start, flip the first card and follow the instructions. Gradually, a map of the area will be formed, where characters, items, dangers, and many plot forks will await you.

Choose actions, develop the storyline, and reach one of the several endings of the chapter. The game will be completed when you discover all the endings.
