The famous writer Veniamin Kaverin (1902-1989) claims that "there is nothing more dangerous than boredom". The events in the tale "The Flying Boy" take place in the quiet town of Nemukhino. There lives an ordinary schoolboy Petya Vorobyov, who does not believe in miracles. At least not until a stranger from the faraway land of Letandia flies into his garden. This meeting completely changes Petya's life. New friends await him, a long journey to the edge of the earth, and a dangerous confrontation with the powerful Main Wind.
