This is a fairy tale about how the Burzyan bee Zulia goes to Ufa to save her kind, which is threatened with extinction. Helping her are the squirrel Yanick, the mouse Tim, Queen Bee Vlada, and other Ufa residents. The author noted that during the creation of the plot, she studied a lot of information about wild bees and personally walked along the route that the main characters of the fairy tale take in the book. Thus, the friends will visit the house-museum of Sergey Aksakov, the building of the State Assembly-Kurultay of the Republic, the “Art Square,” the Theatre of Opera and Ballet, the National Library named after Akhmet-Zaki Validi, the art museum of Mikhail Nesterov, and other iconic places in the Bashkir capital. At the same time, many characters were modeled after famous individuals from the republic, and the editor of “Grаfo” Lyubov Makhan’kova and the illustrator of the book Yulia Bulanova from St. Petersburg meticulously researched the customs of the republic to authentically convey the national color.
