Favoritas. Antra knyga

The novel "Favorite" is a multi-faceted work that addresses a vast layer of historical reality, presenting a wide canvas of life in Russia during the second half of the 18th century. The author depicts the era through the actions of the main character — the Most Serene Prince Grigory Alexandrovich Potemkin-Tauride, the favorite of Catherine II — a complex figure, often contradictory, but undoubtedly talented and intelligent, who resolutely intruded into state affairs and saw his duty in serving Russia.
