In one Ural city, there is a small grove with a strange round house - Filkin's Cliff. Children adore this place, while adults avoid it because of the bad rumors surrounding it. It is said that during the Civil War, a healer named Filka treated people here until something terrible happened one day. Since then, this place 'infects' everyone who comes near with its mystery. A memory-loss teacher, a boy who hears voices, a postman driven mad by passion, a priest who rejects his gift, three friends bound by betrayal — each will experience the influence of Filkin's Cliff.
