Leon Etinger is the owner of an amazing voice and many other talents, the last descendant of an Odessa family with a rather convoluted and tumultuous history. The former vocal boy becomes an operative of one of the serious special... services, acquires the strange nickname "Kenar Rusi?" (Russian Canary) and eventually transforms into a star of the opera stage. But since the anti-terrorist unit of the intelligence service does not want to release the former employee, Leon is forced to combine his career as a countertenor with a secret and very dangerous "hunt."
