This textbook presents generalized information on virtually all sections of psychiatry, including theoretical questions of the specialty, general psychopathology, the main groups of mental disorders, where a complete clinical picture of specific disorders is presented (definition, epidemiology, etiopathogenesis, classification, diagnostic criteria, differential diagnosis, treatment), issues of organizing psychiatric care, as well as current information on the main groups of psychotropic drugs and psychotherapy methods used in psychiatry. Emphasis in the presentation of the material is primarily placed on the achievements of clinical psychiatry in recent decades.
