The beloved of police captain Stepan Kruchy is accused of murdering oil magnate Dmitry Okulev. The girl is horrified. But the captain is confident he will be able to find the real murderer. Meanwhile, the controlling stake passes to the son of the oligarch, Philipp. But enjoying his new position is hindered by competitors. After several unsuccessful attempts to persuade him to sell them the shares at a reduced price, the villains decide to organize an assassination attempt on Philipp. However, at the last moment, the lead decides the fate of this dispute in its own way…
