Yuri Mamleev is a recognized classic of Russian literature, the creator of the genre of metaphysical realism. In the 1990s and early 2000s, he actively collaborated with glossy magazines, among which were "Afisha" and Playboy: he wrote stories for them. Some of these stories have never been published since then. "In This World" is a snapshot of Yuri Mamleev's later work, a collection of small prose from this period brought together for the first time.
This edition is supplemented with a preface by Maxim Semelyak.
