One morning, Maya decides to take a desperate step: she goes to the school principal and accuses her boyfriend of violence. The decision is not easy for her; she understands that not everyone will believe that Mike, the star of... the school track team, the golden boy, is capable of such things. Her friend, a feminist activist, believes they need to fight for justice and takes it upon herself to organize a protest that ultimately turns into an event unrelated to Maya's problem.
